HER EXCELLENCY

I am pleased to have this opportunity to express my deep gratitude to the Board of Trustees, our partners, supporters, field workers, management staff, and volunteers for the successful accomplishments of emergency, humanitarian services, and developmental work for the Borno people.

During this strategic period, we are focusing our energies on further developing the innovative and sustainable solutions that we initiated two years ago. While always ready with emergency relief, MAC Initiative had transitioned to social and infrastructure recovery and rebuilding.  In the next five years (2023-2027), MAC Initiative will focus on reconstruction and re-development in education and healthcare services, income generation and food security, safe water and sanitation, youth employment/vocational General Protection, Camp Coordination camp management, gender base violence skills training, as well as innovation, research, and development initiatives.  I call upon our partners, donors, supporters, and well-wishers to join us in moving forward with our vision to bring more people out of poverty and into self-sufficiency

MAC  Initiative is at a  significant crossroads.   In the process of developing our strategic plan for the next five years (2023-2027), we have had the chance to look back and reflect on the work that we accomplished since the founding of our organization about  2  years ago.   MAC  Initiative was launched in 2020, in response to the devastating insurgency that resulted in the Displacement of thousands of Borno indigenes being felt to date,  as new challenges arise every day as a  result. We would like to thank the MAC  Initiative board, staff,  community members,  partners, and funders for participating and supporting our journey in service for the vulnerable people of Borno  State.  MAC Initiative looks forward to the next five years as we implement our  Strategic  Plan  2022.  With your help, we are confident that we will be successful in our mission and continue to be an organization that we can each take pride in.
